About me

Hailing from Smalltown Midwest, USA, I’m a filmmaker, artist, and lady-about-town in Brooklyn, NY. In a previous life I got a Systems Engineering degree from Washington University in St. Louis and worked as a Program Manager at Microsoft. But I wasn’t satisfied with doing “art on the side,” so I quit that secure & steady lifestyle, taught myself Premiere, and started working my way up on any set that would hire me.

Since then, from pre- through post-production, I’ve worn more hats than Amy Sherman-Palladino (and almost as many unstructured blazers as Larry David). I’ve helped create indie films that have premiered at festivals like Sundance and Cannes, and my happy clients have included Google, eBay, Disney, and the Obamas.

Some of my favorite films are The Gleaners and I, Finding Frances, and Poor Things. Some of my favorite books are Priestdaddy, Weather, and The Sellout.

In my spare time I embarrass myself in acting, music, and dance classes, on my way toward hopefully someday becoming Dick Van Dyke, or at least Lucille Ball.
